Ccsw32.dll Not Found Application Errors

Ccsw32.dll is a dynamic link library file that belongs to Novell International Cryptography Infrastructure from Novell, Inc.

Cause

This error may be caused by Novell Client for Windows 4.9.1?s installation of the nwsso.dll file which is meant for single sign on.

Suggested Fixes:

Method 1

Reinstalling the application may resolve this issue.

Method 2

  1. Rename or delete nwsso.dll which may be found in C:\Windows/System32.
  2. Uninstall previous versions of the Novell client for Windows.
  3. Make sure that nwsso.dll is not in the System32 folder.
  4. Custom install Novell Client 4.9.1 for Windows.
  5. Deselect NMAS and NICI.
  6. Log in to GroupWise.

Error Messages:

  • The dynamic link library CCSW32.DLL could not be found in the specified path.
  • The native library that supports Certificate Server (PKIWrap) was not found. The Certificate Server snapins will not load.

    • Cause:

    If you use ConsoleOne to access a server running NICI 2.4 or greater, you must make sure that NICI 2.4 is also installed on the machine that has ConsoleOne. The errors indicated above will occur if this is not the case whenever the eDirectory is browsed.

    Suggested Fix:

    1. Download NICI 2.4 or higher
    2. Apply to Windows 95/98/NT/2000 to client machines that will run ConsoleOne.

      3. Go to the Novell download page.

    3. From the dropdown menu, select Novell International Cryptographic Infrastructure.
    4. Search.
    5. Applying the file will bring NICI on the client to the same revision as that of the Netware server.
    6. ConsoleOne errors will be resolved.
