Issue:
Card driver installation hangs
Solution:
Check the card first. The issue may be related to the card and not to the drivers.
Check the slot. If the issue is not with the card, the slot may be the cause of the problem.
If the problem is with the card drivers, uninstall the card drivers. You may do this by removing the device from the Device Manager in the Control Panel. Ensure that all older drivers and failed installation files are also removed.
Reboot your PC.
Let Windows XP detect the card. Download updated drivers and install these.
Issue:
Blank Playback of Video and Audio

Download the WDM drivers from the Hauppauge website. Be sure to include the clean sweep program that Hauppauge has to remove all Hauppauge drivers from your system. Before reinstalling, make sure that you have DirectX 8.1 installed on your system. Download DirectX 8.1 if you cannot find this in your system. Once you have the correct DirectX file, run the Hardware Wizard again.
