How to Fix Physxloader.dll Error File

Physxloader.dll is a dynamic link library file which is needed for loading physX engines that provide enhanced graphics for many computer games. Physxloader.dll belongs to the Ageia PhysX driver.

Error Message:

The application has failed to start because PhysXloader.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Resolution:

  1. Uninstall all AGEIA/NVIDIA PhysX drivers. Include NVIDIA Game System Software 2.8.1 in the uninstallation process if present.
  2. Restart the computer.
  3. Download and install Driver Sweeper.
  4. Download and install the latest NVIDIA PhysX drivers.

    Windows XP:

    • Download Physx 8.10.13 SystemSoftware.exe.
    • Save the PhysX_8.10.13_SystemSoftware.exe application file on the hard disk.
    • Run PhysX_8.10.13_SystemSoftware.exe.
    • Follow the onscreen instructions.

    Windows Vista:

    • Download Physx 8.10.13 SystemSoftware.exe.
    • Save PhysX_8.10.13_SystemSoftware.exe application file on the hard disk.
    • Right click PhysX_8.10.13_SystemSoftware.exe.
    • Select Run as Administrator.
    • Follow the onscreen instructions.
  5. Restart the computer.
