Workaround Solution

If you try to use WinDoctor to repair the above error, WinDoctor reports back that it cannot locate the gapi32.dll file, even when the file is present on your hard disk.
Solution
You can fix this issue by using either of the following methods:
Method 1: Copy the gapi32.dll file to Windows\System32 folder
To achieve this, perform the following steps:
- Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\NT folder.
- Next, right-click gapi32.dll and select Copy.
- Next, navigate to C:\Windows\System32.
Note: In the above example, C: is taken to be the drive on which Windows is installed. By default, Windows is installed on the C: drive. If you have Windows installed on some other drive, for example the D drive, then navigate to D:\Windows\System32. - Right-click the System32 folder and click Paste.
- Restart your computer.
